FELLOWSHIP

"And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.  And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."                   Acts 2:45-47, KJV

Fellowship is so important in the life of the church.  The church is the community of the saints, it's a family, it should be central in our life.  The Scripture exhorts us to love one another, pray for one another, bear one another's burdens, and be more concerned for each other than for ourselves.  The biblical picture of a Christian life cannot be lived outside of the fellowship of the church.

As a local congregation, we promote fellowship through purposeful events.  We desire for the church to eat together, laugh together, have conversations about life and our faith.  We have a meal every Wednesday evening with our service and have a pot-luck lunch on the third Sunday of every month and it's then that we take time to celebrate the Birthdays for that month.  We also schedule special times of fellowship throughout the year like our sunrise service on Resurrection Sunday with breakfast afterwards.  We also enjoy eating together for our church conferences (we like to eat together!).

We also encourage, and are thankful for, spontaneous activities amongst the congregation that provide even more opportunities for fellowship.
